Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This policy governs use of Golden Trunk's Canada-only SIP trunks. It protects the wholesale platform, upstream Canadian carriers, and legitimate domestic traffic.

2. Permitted traffic

Lawful business and residential voice within Canada, compliant Canadian contact-center dialing, inbound Canadian DIDs, and SIP peering for platforms registered to Canadian operations.

3. Strictly prohibited

• International termination or origination not explicitly contracted
• Traffic pumping, wangiri, or artificial inflation of Canadian minutes
• Robocalling without proper Canadian consent records
• Caller ID manipulation intended to mislead recipients
• Use of trunks for illegal telemarketing under Canadian rules
• Credential sharing outside your organization

4. High-volume dialers

Predictive dialers and high CPS campaigns require pre-approval. Golden Trunk may cap CPS, require STIR/SHAKEN attestation where applicable, and request sample recordings for compliance review.

5. Numbering rules

Canadian DIDs must be used in accordance with CRTC numbering policies. Customers must hold authority to present CLI and use ported numbers only after successful FOC completion.

6. Enforcement

Violations may result in route blocks, balance holds, immediate trunk suspension, and reporting to carriers or authorities. No refunds on fraudulent usage.
